The University's library system is computerized and operates through a LAN network connected to the Internet. This is a modern library compared to other universities and colleges in Vietnam.

Besides the main library, the libraries of the NEU's postgraduate projects, institutes and centers are major resource for both postgraduate teaching and research.

Halls of Residence Our accommodation covers 6 newly built blocks that accommodate more than 3000 students. In addition, the Laos-Cambodian Student Dormitory with 5 floors was completed and open for international students this year.

Cultural Service The Cultural House with 1,000 seats is a place for cultural and artistic activities.

Library System The Center for Information, Archives and Library covers an area of 3,405 square meters comprising 526 square meters for reading rooms seating approximately 500 readers. It can accommodate 2,500 readers a day and it is open everyday. It has approximately 106,500 book titles including 22,800 foreign language books, 83,700 Vietnamese books and 255 kinds of magazines and newspapers. Apart from that, it has a diversified electronic database system with 8 online databases and over 1,000 CD-ROMs including more than 1.6 million of theses and dissertations summarized from those of reputed universities around the world from 1861 up to now, 55,000 dissertations and 7,000 theses, 31.640 bulletins on law, economic and commercial events and 1,500 economic magazines and reports of leading companies worldwide in many fields.
