1. Announcing the decision of establishing Quang Binh University in the academic year 2006 – 2007 (October 24^th, 2006), meeting the expectation of Quang Binh Party Committee and People;

2. Opening many training majors (6 majors at university level, 7 majors at college level),  having submitted documents for opening a great number of majors at intermediate level (course of 2 years);

3. Being the first time Quang Binh University held the university entrance exam with high result, safety, seriousness and ensuring the rule, preparing everything considerately for higher education training in the first course with high quality;

4. Visiting and having a working session of Minister. Nguyen Thien Nhan and delegation of Education and Training Ministry at QBU (dated April 18^th, 2007), opening up alot of developing prospects;

5. Upgrading clearly the quality of working aspects, especially education and management of students, admitted by society, employer and learners themselves ;

6. Expanding the foreign and domestic cooperation; appointing 14 lecturers to practize and to be fact -finding in foreign countries, 42 students to study in Thailand University, 2 lecturers to attend the postgraduate program in France and Korea, creating the international traits in the character of QBU;

7. Upgrading evidently the scientific research; 25 research works were announced in the state and foreign countries;

8. Consolidating the organization apparatus, nominating Rector (November, 2006) and 2 Vice-Rectors (May, 2007);

9. Establishing a number of plans, regulations to manage the Institute, creating the democratic and scientific asmostphere in conducting; Material facilities, land area and investigations are also on the rise, creating the new position for our University;

10. A lecturer being a member of the twelveth National Assembly.
